Mouilles insektenähnliche Designs aus den 1950er Jahren wurden als Reaktion auf schwerere, klobigere italienische Designs dieser Zeit geschaffen. Mouille wollte moderne Leuchten mit zarten Linien und einer atemberaubenden visuellen Präsenz schaffen. Die einarmige Wandleuchte ist eine der vielseitigsten Lampen von Serge.
Der Arm ist 47 Zoll lang, sodass Licht in viele verschiedene Teile des Raums projiziert werden kann. Außerdem lässt sich der Schirm unabhängig drehen, um weitere Flexibilität zu ermöglichen.
