The Envolee Double Biscuit is a contemporary pendant light built around a single sculptural idea: two stacked discs floating in vertical balance. The form is deliberately literal — "Double Biscuit" describes what you see, two biscuit-shaped shades held one above the other on a gold metal frame. Elegance, balance and harmony are the working principles; the lamp aims for the kind of lightness that defines refined contemporary design. 02 Sizes Four Size Combinations
Scale by both the table and the ceiling. Diameter (40 vs 60 cm) should match the visual width below — kitchen island or 4-seater table for 40, dining room or 6+ seats for 60. Height (60 vs 70 cm) should match your ceiling — taller pendant for taller rooms. Custom suspension lengths are available on request to fine-tune the final hanging height.

Cool White is daylight-equivalent — clean, crisp, best for kitchens, offices, retail, and task-heavy spaces. The integrated LED cannot be swapped, so this decision carries through the lamp's entire lifetime.

Gold Metal Frame
A slim gold-finished metal stem with two horizontal disc supports — the structural axis that holds both Biscuit shades in perfect vertical balance. The frame is the lamp's skeleton: strong enough to support the integrated LEDs and acrylic shades, slender enough to read as a line of light rather than visible hardware.
Acrylic + PVC Shades
The two disc shades are constructed from white acrylic and PVC (not glass) — chosen for impact resistance during shipping, dimensional stability over time, and even light diffusion. The visual effect is the same as opal glass: soft, low-glare, no hot spots, but in a far more durable construction.
Integrated LED · Warm or Cool
Built-in LED panels at the heart of each disc — no bulb to buy or replace. Two color temperatures (Warm White or Cool White) are factory-set at order time. The LED is not dimmer-compatible — works with standard household on/off switches only.

08 Installation Setup Notes
- Hardwired ceiling installation — a licensed electrician is recommended for safe mounting, wiring, and grounding.
- Watch the Installation video and the lit showcase video for visual reference of the assembled silhouette and color temperature.
- Flat ceilings only. The canopy and 50 cm suspension rod are designed for level mounting planes — sloped or vaulted ceilings are not compatible without a separate swivel-canopy adapter.
- No bulb required. The LED is integrated and factory-tuned to your selected color temperature (Warm White or Cool White) — simply wire the fixture, restore power, and the light is ready.
- Do not install on a dimmer circuit. The integrated LED is not dimmer-compatible — confirm the wall switch is a standard on/off type before installation.
- Suspension drop is 50 cm (19.7") standard. For dining tables, the bottom of the lower disc should sit roughly 75–90 cm above the table surface; for general focal pendants, roughly 180–200 cm above the floor. Custom rod lengths can be specified at order time if standard length doesn't suit your installation.
- Unbox carefully and lift the fixture by the frame, never by the acrylic shades. Handle with clean, dry hands during initial setup to avoid marking the freshly-finished gold frame.

Can I order custom suspension lengths?
Yes. The standard suspension rod is 50 cm (19.7"), but custom lengths can be specified at order time — useful for double-height rooms, low ceilings, stairwells, or installations where the standard length isn't ideal. Please specify your preferred drop length when placing your order.
What hanging height is right for a dining table?
For a dining table, the bottom of the lower disc should sit roughly 75–90 cm (30–35″) above the table surface — close enough to feel intimate and to throw light onto the table, far enough not to obstruct sightlines across the table. For a kitchen island, similar height applies. For a general focal pendant in a living room or entryway, roughly 180–200 cm above the floor works well.
Can the Envolee be installed on a sloped ceiling?
No. The fixture is designed for flat-ceiling installation only — the canopy and rod are not configured for angled mounting planes. For sloped or vaulted ceilings, a swivel-canopy adapter would be required (sold separately and not included). Verify your ceiling is flat before ordering.

Can I install it in a bathroom or outdoors?
No. The Envolee pendant is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only — not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms, covered porches, or any outdoor environment. The acrylic and PVC shades are also not designed to withstand prolonged humidity or direct sunlight.
How do I clean it?
With the power off and the fixture cool, dust the gold frame and acrylic shades gently with a soft dry microfibre cloth. For more thorough cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth (water only, no solvents or alcohol-based cleaners) and dry immediately. Avoid abrasive sponges, ammonia-based glass cleaners, and direct application of cleaning sprays — these can damage either the acrylic shade surface or the gold frame finish.
