The Layla is a spherical pendant with a ribbed milk-white glass shade and brass band, available in two diameters. It produces a warm, diffused glow suitable for general lighting or accent clusters. Hang it over kitchen islands, dining tables, or bar counters—just confirm your ceiling is flat before installation.
Prismatic molded glass in clear with white interior creates soft, even light diffusion. No harsh shadows or glare.
Metal frame and equator band in brushed gold finish. Hardwired connection, no exposed cord.

What is the shade made of?
Prismatic molded glass with a white interior and ribbed texture, paired with a brushed gold metal frame and equator band. The glass diffuses light evenly without harsh shadows or glare.
Can this be dimmed?
Yes. The fixture is compatible with standard wall dimmers, and we can build it to your dimming preference as a made-to-order piece.
Can I change the cord or drop length?
Yes. A 30 cm brass chain is supplied standard, and we build longer lengths to order so it hangs at your exact ceiling height.
Will this work on a sloped or vaulted ceiling?
The standard canopy suits a flat ceiling. We can build a custom canopy for a sloped or vaulted ceiling—just provide your pitch before ordering, and contact our support team at support@vakkerlight.com to arrange it.
Does it run on US household power?
Yes. It operates on AC 110–240V and is hardwired directly to your ceiling electrical box by an electrician—no plug required.
