Overview
Pebbles, Smoothed by Water
An organic, pleasantly asymmetrical pendant — shaped like a river-smoothed pebble, held in suspension and quietly glowing from within.
Gregg draws its form from the natural world: pebbles polished over time by moving water, worn into softly rounded, imperfect shapes. Hand-shaped white glass shades are paired with a discreet metal ceiling fitting, and a high-power integrated LED is tuned to your chosen colour temperature. Available in three proportions — from a single small pebble to a confident large cluster anchor — Gregg invites layered, clustered installations over dining tables, entryways, and stairwells, bringing an organic softness into the geometry of modern interiors.

Each shade is formed in soft, asymmetrical curves — organic rather than perfectly spherical. A gently frosted white surface diffuses the LED into a smooth, even glow.
Integrated LED
A high-power LED is built into the shade — no bulb changes, no exposed socket. Your chosen Kelvin (3000 K or 4500 K) is factory-set at production.
Cluster-Ready
Mix sizes at varied drop heights for a layered, pebble-stream effect. The small size, in particular, is designed for clustered multi-pendant compositions.

It is not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms, uncovered outdoor areas, or any installation exposed to moisture. For fully sheltered covered porches, please consult a specialist electrician.

Installation
Setup Notes
- Hardwired ceiling installation — a licensed electrician is recommended for safe mounting, wiring, and grounding.
- Flat ceilings only. The mounting plate requires a level surface — sloped or vaulted ceilings are not compatible without a specialised adapter (not included).
- Standard suspension cable is 150 cm (59″). Longer or shorter drops can be supplied on request — please specify when ordering for stairwells, double-height rooms, or low-ceiling installations.
- No bulb required. The LED is built in and factory-tuned to your chosen Kelvin (3000 K or 4500 K). Please specify your preferred colour temperature at the time of ordering.
- The lamp is not compatible with dimmers. Install a standard household on/off switch — a dimmer switch will not work and may damage the integrated LED driver.
- For clustered multi-pendant installations, plan drop heights in advance. We recommend staggering the drop so that no two pebbles sit at the same height — this preserves the organic, river-stream aesthetic.

Which Kelvin (colour temperature) should I choose?
3000 K (Warm) is cosy and golden — ideal for bedrooms, dining tables, and evening-focused spaces where you want a relaxed glow. 4500 K (Neutral) is balanced and daylight-clear — ideal for kitchens, studies, open-plan living, and spaces used throughout the day. Please specify your choice at the time of ordering — the LED is factory-set and cannot be changed after installation.
Does the lamp come with a bulb?
No bulb is needed — the LED is integrated into the shade and pre-tuned to your chosen Kelvin. You don't need to buy a bulb, and you will never need to replace one during the product's lifetime. The integrated LED is designed for tens of thousands of hours of use.
Can I dim the Gregg?
No. The Gregg uses an integrated LED with fixed output and is not compatible with dimmer switches. Attempting to install it on a dimmer circuit may damage the LED driver. Use a standard household on/off switch. If you want dimming behaviour, we recommend pairing Gregg with a separate accent lamp on a dimmer.
Can I install Gregg outdoors, on a patio, or in a bathroom?
No. Although the organic, pebble-like form suggests a garden setting, this piece is IP20-rated for dry indoor use only. It is not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms, saunas, uncovered patios, or any outdoor environment. Moisture will damage the integrated LED and void the warranty.
Which size should I choose — or should I mix sizes?
The Small (Ø 15 cm) is best for bedside lights, low-ceiling hallways, or clustered multi-pendant compositions where you want many pebbles overhead. The Medium (Ø 23 cm) is a versatile middle option — single-pendant over a breakfast table, a dining table, or a hallway. The Large (Ø 31 cm) is the statement piece, best for stairwells, double-height entries, or as a single confident anchor over a dining table. Mixing all three sizes at varied drop heights produces the signature "river pebbles" cluster effect.
Can I order a longer or shorter suspension cable?
Yes. The standard cable is 150 cm (59″), but custom lengths are available on request — ideal for stairwells, high ceilings, or low-ceiling installations. Please specify your preferred drop length when placing your order. For clustered compositions, please list the cable lengths for each pendant.
Can I install Gregg on a sloped ceiling?
No. Gregg is designed for flat ceilings only. The ceiling rose requires a level mounting plane, and the cable needs to hang straight for the pendant to read correctly. For sloped installations, a specialised adapter would be required and is not included.
Can I use Gregg on both 110V and 220V circuits?
Yes. Gregg supports full-range AC 110–240V and is certified for use in North America, Europe, Australia, and the Middle East — no additional transformer required.
Do I need a professional electrician to install this?
Yes, we strongly recommend a licensed electrician. The lamp is hardwired, requires a properly mounted ceiling junction box, and must be correctly grounded. A professional will also confirm you are not installing it on a dimmer circuit, which is critical to protect the integrated LED driver.
How do I clean the glass shade?
With the power off, gently dust the shade with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. For stubborn marks, use a slightly damp cloth (water only, or a drop of pH-neutral soap) and dry immediately. Avoid ammonia-based glass cleaners, abrasive sponges, and strong solvents — they can dull the frosted surface.
