- Hardwired ceiling installation — a licensed electrician is recommended for safe mounting, wiring, and grounding.
- Confirm ceiling junction box capacity. The smaller sizes (Ø 30–60) mount to a standard junction box. The Ø 70–80 (5 kg) and especially the Ø 100 (15 kg) require a reinforced junction box rated for the weight — have your electrician verify before installation.
- Flat ceilings only. The ceiling rose requires a level mounting plane — sloped or vaulted ceilings are not compatible without a specialised adapter (not included).
- Standard cable length is 150 cm (59″). Custom drops can be specified when ordering — recommended for stairwells, high ceilings, and double-height rooms.
- Install an E26 or E27 bulb (sold separately). A warm white LED bulb (2700K–3000K, 5–10W) gives the softest, most cloud-like glow and keeps heat output low on the polystyrene shade.
- For dimming, pair a dimmable LED bulb with a TRIAC-compatible dimmer switch on the wall circuit.
- Handle the shade gently during installation — polystyrene is lightweight but can be scuffed. Use clean, dry hands and avoid pressing firmly on the surface.
