Akari — la parola giapponese per luce. Una scultura in scala da tavolo radicata nella tradizione delle lanterne di Gifu.
Un raffinato esempio delle sculture luminose Akari progettate per la prima volta nel 1951 da un pionieristico artista americano-giapponese, Akari Lampada da tavolo attinge direttamente dalle tradizionali lanterne da pesca di Gifu, Giappone. La sua struttura snella — reminiscente di costole di bambù — è avvolta in carta di riso incollata a mano, che ammorbidisce e diffonde la lampadina in un bagliore uniforme e ambientale. Fedele al significato duale del suo nome, Akari è contemporaneamente illuminazione e un'estetica leggera: un raffinato pezzo di illuminazione che coniuga l'eredità culturale e il design d'interni moderno.

- Assemblare innanzitutto l'ossatura in stecche di ferro, quindi far scorrere attentamente il paralume in carta di riso sull'armatura — segui il video di installazione passo dopo passo qui sopra per la tua misura (1A o 24N).
- Installa una lampadina E26 o E27 (venduta separatamente). Una lampadina LED bianca calda (2700K–3000K) crea la luce più lusinghiera attraverso la paralume di carta.
- Collega a una comune presa a muro. Il cavo di 150 cm include un interruttore on/off inline per facile utilizzo su una tavolo o superficie laterale. La lampada arriva con la spina regionale scelta (US, UK, AU o EU) — specifica al momento del pagamento affinché arrivi pronta per la tua presa locale.
- Quando sostituisci la lampadina, assicurati che la lampada sia scollegata e che la lampadina sia completamente raffreddata. Maneggia la paralume di carta con le mani pulite e asciutte.
