Los diseños parecidos a insectos de Mouille de la década de 1950 se crearon como una reacción a los diseños italianos más pesados y toscos de la época. Mouille quería crear accesorios de iluminación modernos que tuvieran líneas delicadas y una presencia visual impresionante. El aplique de pared One-Arm es una de las lámparas más versátiles de Serge.
El brazo mide 47" para que la luz se pueda proyectar a muchas partes diferentes de la habitación. Además, la pantalla tiene una rotación independiente para permitir una mayor flexibilidad.
