- Although the "cloud" structure may look complex, don't worry! Installation is actually very easy if you follow the steps. Today, we'll guide you step-by-step on how to bring this cloud into your home.
🛠️ Preparation: Pre-Installation Checklist
- Before you begin, please take a few minutes to check the following items. This will make the subsequent installation much easier:
- Verify the completeness of the parts:
- Glass Orbs: These are the heart of the "cloud" design. Please check for any damage (spare parts are usually included in the packaging).
- Metal Chains: ⚠️ Important! Please check your chain package; they are usually numbered (e.g., 1, 2, 3... 7). Do not mix up these numbers! Different numbers represent different lengths, which determine the final shape of the cloud.
- Gold Fixture Body & Rod.
- G9 Light Bulbs and Metal Clips.
Tools needed:
- A Phillips head screwdriver.
- A sturdy ladder.
- (Recommended) A pair of thin gloves to avoid leaving fingerprints on the glass globe.
Safety first:
- Always disconnect the power supply before performing any wiring work.
🚀 Step One: Assembling the Lamp Body and Suspension Rod
- First, we need to assemble the main structure of the lamp.
- Connecting the suspension rod: Screw the golden straight rod into the hub in the center of the lamp body, ensuring a secure connection.
Preparing the ceiling plate:
- As shown in the diagram, you may need to remove the back cover of the ceiling plate first (Steps 1-4).
- Thread the power cord through the suspension rod and connect it to the terminals inside the ceiling plate (Steps 5-6).
- Tip: Before mounting the lamp body to the ceiling, it is recommended to perform a simple power-on test on the ground to ensure that the wiring is correct.
💡 Step Two: Installing the Light Bulbs
- It's easier to install the light bulbs before attaching the intricate chains and glass spheres.
- Take out the included G9 LED light bulbs.
- Insert them one by one into the lamp holders on the light fixture.
- Turn on the power again to test and ensure all the bulbs are working properly. Seeing this golden core light up, aren't you already getting excited?
Insert the clips into the glass spheres:
- Prepare the hooks: Take out the M-shaped metal clips.
- As shown in the diagram, pinch the two ends of the clip with your fingers (Step 1-2).
- Insert it into the small circular hole in the glass sphere (Step 3).
- Release your fingers, allowing the clip to naturally expand inside the sphere and secure itself to the edge. Gently pull on it to ensure it's firmly in place.
- Attach the spheres to the chains: Attach the glass spheres with the clips already installed to the end of each hanging chain.
- As each frosted glass sphere is put into place, you'll find that the previously messy chains instantly become full and vibrant, and a floating "cloud" is born in your home! ✨
⛓️ Step Three: Hanging the Chains
- This is the crucial step that determines the shape of the cloud!
- Sort by number: Arrange the chain packages labeled with numbers 1 through 7 in order.
- Match the numbers: Observe the hanging rings on the lamp body. The instructions usually indicate which ring or position corresponds to which chain number. Please strictly follow the instructions and hang the corresponding numbered chains onto the small hooks on the lamp body.
- Generally, the chains are hung in layers, with different lengths arranged in a staggered manner to create the fluffy appearance of a cloud.
🔮 Step Four: Installing the Glass Spheres
- This is the final step, and the one where the magic truly happens.
💡 Successfully Illuminated: Maintenance and Care Tips
- Daily Cleaning: Gently wipe away dust with a dry, soft cloth or feather duster. Do not use wet cloths or corrosive liquids, as this may damage the cloud-shaped material.
- Light Source Replacement: If the lamp is designed with a replaceable light source, be sure to disconnect the power before replacing the bulb, and use a bulb of the same specifications.
- Regular Inspection: Check the electrical connections and suspension for security once a year.
