The Tamsen Ceramic Pendant Light pairs a fluted, scalloped ceramic shade with a solid brass turn-key socket and a twisted fabric cord, in the spirit of a classic French bistro fixture. The shade comes in Blue or Green over brass hardware, and works well over a kitchen island, a breakfast nook, a dining table, or a bedside reading corner. It's hardwired rather than plug-in, and compatible with both ordinary switches and dimmers.
A fluted, scalloped ceramic shade is hand-glazed in Blue or Green, giving each piece slight, natural variation.
A solid brass turn-key socket and fittings hold the shade, finished to age gracefully over time.
A twisted fabric-covered cord runs from the ceiling mount to the shade, adding a vintage textile detail to the drop.
Do I need an electrician to install this?
Yes. This fixture is hardwired, not plug-in, so it needs to be wired into your ceiling electrical box — professional installation is recommended.
Can I install this on a sloped or vaulted ceiling?
No. It's designed for flat ceiling mounting only and isn't compatible with sloped ceilings.
Is a bulb included?
No. You supply an E26 or E27 base bulb separately. Check the wattage limit printed on the fixture before buying.
Does it work with a dimmer?
Yes. It's compatible with ordinary household switches as well as dimmer switches.
Can I use this outdoors or in a bathroom?
No. It's rated IP20, which means indoor use only — it isn't sealed against moisture or splashing.
