The Adair Fluted Membrane Pendant Light draws on blooming flora and mid-century cocoon lighting. A fine membrane of white natural mulberry silk is stretched over a fluted iron wireframe, forming a soft, cloud-like silhouette with scalloped edges that glows warmly when lit. Rooted in Japandi and Scandinavian calm and offered in 60, 80, and 100 cm, it makes a sculptural focal point over a dining table, a kitchen island, an open living room, a tall entryway, or a bedroom.

Is this hardwired, or does it plug in?
It's hardwired to your ceiling wiring, with no plug. We recommend installation by a licensed electrician.
Which size should I choose?
The 60 cm suits most dining tables, a bedroom, or a kitchen island. The 80 cm works over a large dining table or in an open living room. The 100 cm is a statement for a double-height entryway or a very large space.
Can the hanging height be adjusted?
Yes. The 150 cm (59") cord can be adjusted during installation. Longer cords are available on request for high ceilings.
Will the silk look exactly like the photos?
Not exactly. Mulberry silk is a natural fiber, so its texture and the soft folds of the membrane vary slightly from piece to piece.
What bulb should I use?
One standard E26 or E27 LED bulb, not included. LEDs stay cool, which is important with a silk shade — avoid incandescent or halogen bulbs. Around 3000K gives a warm glow.
