A pendant system of small black matchstick-like terminals, suspended on slim cables — a minimal, composable light that lets the user become part of the design.
Match is a pendant lighting system built around a single modular idea: small matte-black LED terminals, each the size of a wooden matchstick, hanging from slender suspension cables. The system is designed to be composed — configurations range from a single solo drop to twelve-terminal clusters, and each cluster can be arranged into strategic, architectural forms or deliberately chaotic, scattered layouts. The terminals themselves stay quiet; what changes is where you place them in space. The result is a light that integrates seamlessly into an interior rather than dominating it — decoration through negation, a constellation rather than a chandelier.
Strategic forms, or deliberate chaos — it's yours to compose.
Match is built around a new idea in lighting: the end user participates in the creative process. Within each configuration, the individual drop lengths and the spacing of the terminals are yours to determine. Arrange them in tight, architectural rows for graphic clarity, or scatter them at varied heights for a loose, star-like feel. Custom cable lengths are available on request — please specify the drop length for each terminal when ordering.
Use AC 110V G4 bulbs — not 12V low-voltage G4.
G4 is the socket shape, but G4 bulbs exist in two different voltages — AC 110–240V and DC 12V (low-voltage). The Match terminals run on standard mains voltage and require the AC 110V version only. Installing a 12V low-voltage G4 bulb will damage the bulb immediately and may damage the terminal. When purchasing bulbs, confirm the label reads "AC 110–240V" or "mains voltage", not "12V".

- Hardwired ceiling installation — a licensed electrician is recommended for safe mounting, wiring, and grounding.
- Watch the Installation video before starting — it covers canopy mounting, cable routing, and terminal assembly.
- Flat ceilings only. The canopy plate requires a level mounting surface — sloped or vaulted ceilings are not compatible.
- Install on a standard on/off switch circuit only. The fixture is not compatible with dimmer switches — confirm with your electrician that the wall circuit is a standard switch, not a dimmer, before installation. A dimmer will cause flicker, incorrect brightness, or damage to the LED driver.
- Source the correct G4 bulbs. Each terminal takes one G4 bi-pin bulb, AC 110V (mains voltage) version — confirm the bulb label reads "AC 110–240V" or "mains voltage", not "12V". We recommend warm white LED G4 bulbs (2700K–3000K, 1.5–3 W) for low heat and long life.
- Plan your composition. Within each head-count configuration, you control where each terminal hangs. Decide in advance whether you want a structured row, a grid, or a deliberately scattered cluster — the cables and supports allow any of these.
- Cable lengths. Standard cables are 150 cm. To create varied drop heights within a cluster (highly recommended for the larger configurations), specify the preferred length of each individual terminal when ordering.
- Install the terminals last. Handle by the housing, not by the bulb — each terminal is small and can be scuffed if pressed firmly.
