The Gilda is a compact wall sconce (9.5″ diameter) that mounts flush to the wall and throws light downward or outward depending on placement. The white linen shade softens the bulb's output while the brass or black arm keeps visual weight minimal. Mount it beside a bed, in a hallway, above a console, or flanking a mirror—just confirm your wall can accept hardwiring before purchase.
Diffuses bulb light without glare. Machine washable if removed carefully.
Slim metal bracket holds shade 4″ from wall. Choose finish to match existing hardware.

Can I plug this in or does it need hardwiring?
Hardwired only. It connects directly to your home's electrical wiring via a wall junction box. You'll need a licensed electrician or basic electrical knowledge to install it.

Is this an unlacquered brass wall sconce that will patina?
The brass finish will develop patina over time with exposure to air and moisture. If you prefer a static finish, choose the black option or protect the brass with clear lacquer (apply before installation).
Can I use this with a dimmer?
No. The switch is not dimmer-compatible. Works only with standard on/off household switches.
