Cirkus — the Scandinavian word for circus. A chandelier of U-shaped modules that can be rotated to any orientation, including with the open end facing upward. A customisable centerpiece you can re-arrange at will.
The Cirkus Chandelier combines innovative U-shaped module design with versatile adaptability — each module rotates independently, letting you direct light up, down, sideways, or in any combination across the chandelier. The result is a fixture that's as expressive as it is functional: a dynamic centerpiece tailored to complement any interior, from minimalist Scandinavian to playful Mediterranean. Part of the broader CIRKUS Collection — which includes a wall lamp and a track rail lamp — this chandelier brings a playful yet sophisticated element to contemporary lighting solutions. Available in three sizes (4, 6, or 8 heads) and four bold colors (Black, Blue, Gray, Terracotta).
A faithful representation of the Cirkus design originally conceived by BYMARS Studio — founded in 2010 by South Korean designer Mars Hwasung Yoo in Stockholm — for Korean lighting brand AGO Lighting. The collection fuses Korean and Scandinavian design traditions with a touch of humour.

The defining feature of Cirkus: each U-shaped module can be rotated to any orientation — open end facing downward (default, throws light onto the table), upward (washes light against the ceiling), sideways (directs light onto walls), or any combination across the chandelier. Rearrange anytime, no tools required, no electrician needed for the adjustment. This is the "circus-like mobility" Mars Hwasung Yoo built into the design.
Important — please note: This fixture allows the U-shaped lamp head to be mounted with the open end facing upward. This is intentional and unique to the design — different orientations produce different lighting effects (downward = task light, upward = ambient ceiling wash). Experiment freely with different combinations.
Important — not dimmer-compatible. The integrated LED works with standard household on/off switches only. Do not install on a dimmer-switch circuit — it will cause flicker, premature LED failure, or both. If dimming is essential to your installation plan, please choose a different fixture before ordering. The LED is integrated and cannot be swapped.

- Hardwired ceiling installation — a licensed electrician is recommended for safe mounting, wiring, and grounding (especially for the 8-head version with full 100W draw).
- Flat ceilings only. The canopy is not configured for sloped or vaulted ceilings — a swivel-canopy adapter would be required (sold separately, not included).
- Watch the product video to see how the U-shaped modules rotate and the various orientation arrangements.
- No bulb required. The LED is integrated — simply wire the fixture to the junction box and restore power.
- Do not install on a dimmer circuit. The integrated LED is not dimmer-compatible — confirm the wall switch is a standard on/off type before installation.
- Adjust U-shape orientation by hand. Once installed, each U-shaped module can be rotated to any direction by hand — open end up, down, sideways, or any mix. Rearrange any time without tools. The aluminum connectors hold each module firmly in its set position.
- Default suspension cable is 150 cm (59"). For dining tables, the bottom of the chandelier should sit roughly 75–90 cm above the table surface. Custom cable lengths can be specified at order time if standard length isn't ideal.
- Two people are recommended for unboxing and lift-installation — particularly the 6-head and 8-head versions, which are larger and benefit from a second pair of hands during ceiling mounting.
