Hang 30–36″ above the table top; the fixture about two-thirds of the table width, centred on the long axis. Add 3″ per foot of ceiling above 8 ft.

One pendant for every 24–30″ of island, equally spaced and from each end. A 6-ft island takes three small or two medium pendants.

Layered pleated fabric pendant with wavy form casts warm glow over kitchen islands and dining tables.

The Calahan is a sculptural pendant light with undulating fabric layers that softens harsh overhead light into an inviting glow. Three E14 bulbs (not included) wire into standard household switches and dimmers. Suspend it 59″ of cable over a kitchen island, dining table, or living room—confirm your ceiling is flat before ordering.

Pleated Fabric Shell

Layered, wavy-edge design diffuses light evenly. Three bulb sockets keep the glow spread across the fixture rather than pooled below.

Dimmable & Hardwired

Works with standard wall switches and dimmer switches. Requires hardwired installation into a ceiling junction box.

Two Widths

Choose 50cm (19.7″) for tighter spaces or 60cm (23.6″) for islands and larger tables. Same 35cm height either way.

Can I use this as plug in pendant lighting?

No. This is hardwired only—it connects directly to a ceiling junction box. No plug-in version available.

Do the bulbs come with it?

No bulbs included. You'll need three E14 base bulbs (or E12 compatible). LED warm white recommended.

Will it work on a sloped or cathedral ceiling?

No. The fixture requires a flat ceiling for installation. Sloped ceilings are not compatible.

What's the difference between the 50cm and 60cm sizes?

The 60cm spreads light wider, better for larger islands and tables. The 50cm works in tighter dining spaces. Both are 35cm tall.
