How much light does this lamp actually produce?
Brightness depends on your bulb choice. The red velvet shade filters and warms light; expect softer glow than a bare bulb. For a 60W equivalent LED (800 lumens), you get enough to read or light a corner; for 40W equivalent (450 lumens), it works as accent lighting. The fringe does not block light, only diffuses it.
Will this burgundy table lamp work in my bedroom?
Yes. Model A (26″) fits a standard nightstand; Model B (27″) requires more width. At 13.8″ tall, it sits comfortably on both high and low tables. Make sure the table is sturdy—the base alone is solid—and that the cord can reach your outlet without stretching.
Does the gold fringe shed or come loose?
The fringe is hand-tied. Over time, individual strands may loosen slightly with dust or air movement. Gentle vacuuming or dusting with a soft brush maintains appearance. Avoid pulling or tugging the fringe.
What bulb do I need?
E26 or E27 screw-base, 110–240V. No bulb is included. A 40–60W equivalent LED (2700K warm white) pairs best with the red velvet for a cohesive look. Check your outlet type matches your plug choice (US, UK, AU, or EU).
