Do I need a wall switch to use this plug-in sconce?
Yes. Both plug-in and hardwired versions connect to an external wall switch. If hardwired, the electrician runs it to an existing or new switch box. If plug-in, you plug it into a switched outlet or use an outlet-to-switch setup.
What bulb does it take?
E12 or E14 base (candelabra or small screw). Bulbs are not included. A single 40–60W equivalent warm-white LED or incandescent fits standard bedside and accent use.
Can I install this as a plug-in wall sconce above my nightstand?
Yes, if you have an outlet or switched outlet within reach of the cord. A short extension cord can help if the outlet is a few feet away. Confirm outlet placement and switch control before purchasing.
Will the clear glass show dust or fingerprints?
Yes. Dust and hand marks are visible on clear glass. Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth every few weeks to keep it transparent and avoid dulling the finish.
