Travertine pendant that hangs from 150cm cable, takes standard GU10 bulbs, dims on household switches.

A 10cm travertine sphere that reads as an intimate, sculptural accent over a nightstand or small work zone. The warm stone diffuses light softly downward; no glare. Verify your ceiling can take hardwired installation before ordering—this fixture does not work on sloped ceilings.

Can I use this as a plug-in pendant light?

No. This fixture is hardwired to your ceiling. If you need a plug-in pendant, contact support for alternative options.

Will this work on a sloped or cathedral ceiling?

No. The canopy is designed for flat ceilings only. Sloped or angled ceilings are not compatible.

Do travertine pendant lights all look the same?

No. Travertine patterns and coloring vary naturally from piece to piece. Your fixture may differ from photos shown.

What bulb should I buy?

Any GU10 bulb works. Choose 2700K (warm white) for cozy light, 3000K for neutral. LED bulbs run cool and last longer.

Stone thatholds the light

Travertine is a limestone laid down by mineral springs, layer over layer, with gas bubbles trapped inside. We cut it, shape it by hand and leave those pores open, so every lamp carries the record of how its stone was made.

From block to lamp

Every piece in the series goes through the same four stages in the workshop.

01
Choosing the block
Blocks are sorted by tone and pore density. Stone with deep cracks or large voids is set aside, since it can't hold a thin wall.

Cutting
Water-cooled saws cut each block into slabs, discs and cylinders. The direction of the cut decides whether the shade shows stripes or clouds.
03
Shaping by hand
Shades are turned, carved and drilled one at a time. Edges are rounded off by hand so the stone feels soft, not sharp.

Finishing and fitting
Surfaces are ground smooth and polished, with the pores left open. Each shade is then fitted with its hardware and lit before it ships.

Travertine forms in horizontal bands. Cut across them or along them, and the same block gives two completely different surfaces.

Keep it dryThe stone is porous and unsealed, so the series is for dry indoor rooms only (IP20).
