Can I use this where my old ceiling light fixture was?

Yes, if the electrical box and wiring are in good condition. An electrician can confirm the installation and connect it to your existing wires.

E27 base bulbs, standard type sold in any hardware store. The small model uses 3; the large uses 4. Warm white (2700K) matches the brass finish best.

Does it work with a dimmer switch?

Yes. Check that your dimmer is compatible with your chosen bulbs (most modern dimmers work with standard incandescent and many LED bulbs).

Plafonnier en laiton et verre transparent qui s'adapte aux chambres et séjours, fonctionne avec les ampoules domestiques standard.

Un plafonnier encastré doté d'un diffuseur en verre cannelé et d'une garniture en laiton, disponible en deux tailles adaptées aux pièces standard de 8 pieds ou plus grandes. La couche de verre intérieure diffuse la lumière régulièrement dans la pièce sans éblouissement. Installez-le où se trouve un plafonnier existant et vérifiez la hauteur de votre plafond : le petit modèle descend de 4,7 pouces, le grand de 5,9 pouces.

Quels ampoules dois-je acheter ?

Ampoules à culot E27, type standard vendu dans tous les quincailleries. Le petit modèle en utilise 3 ; le grand en utilise 4. Le blanc chaud (2700K) s'accorde parfaitement avec la finition laiton.
