Can I use a dimmer switch with this?
No. This sconce works only with standard on/off switches.
Do I need an electrician to install this?
Yes. Hardwired installation requires running electrical wire into your wall and connecting to a circuit; hire a licensed electrician.
What does the ceramic bird do?
It is a decorative perch at the base of the shade. It is not functional—purely visual.
