Can I use this sconce in a bathroom above the sink?
Yes, as a vanity light flanking a mirror. Keep away from direct shower spray; IP rating 20 means it is not waterproof. Pair two units symmetrically for balanced mirror lighting.
Do I need a dimmer, and what bulb should I buy?
No dimmer is required. Buy a G9 LED bulb rated 2700K for warm bedroom or bathroom light, 4000K for task lighting. Typical G9 LED draws 4–6W and fits standard wall switches.
What is the difference between the 5.1″ and 7.1″ heights?
The 5.1″ standard length suits typical 30″–36″ mirror widths and bedside tables. The 7.1″ tall version makes a stronger vertical statement and suits larger walls or 48″+ mirrors.
Is this fixture hardwired, and can I install it myself?
Yes, it is hardwired to your home's electrical supply. Installation requires cutting into drywall and connecting live wires—hire a licensed electrician. Do not attempt DIY if you are unfamiliar with electrical work.
