Can I use this as a plug-in wall sconce?

No. This model is hardwired into your wall circuit during installation by a licensed electrician. It cannot be plugged in or moved.

What bulb do I need?

Any E14-base bulb. The socket does not come with a bulb; you supply your own. LED or incandescent both work. Dimmable bulbs will not dim because this fixture is not wired to a dimmer switch.

Is the brass real?

Yes. It is solid brass in an antique finish. Over time, antique brass may develop a patina, which is normal and adds character. You can slow patina with occasional dry dusting.

Can I use this outdoors or in a bathroom?

Not outdoors or in damp areas. The IP20 rating means no water or moisture resistance. Use indoors only, away from direct shower spray and exterior walls.
