Will this work in a low-ceiling room?

Yes. This is a semi-flush mount, not a pendant. It hangs 9.8″ (Standard) or 11″ (Large) from the ceiling—suitable for 8-foot ceilings and up. Measure your space before ordering.

Can I use a dimmer switch with this light?

No. The integrated LED is compatible only with standard on/off switches. Dimmers are not supported.

Is the alabaster shade the same in every unit?

No. Each alabaster shade has unique natural veining. The pattern and intensity of veins vary from piece to piece.

Do I need an electrician to install this?

This is a hardwired ceiling light fixture. Installation requires turning off power at the breaker and connecting wires to your existing ceiling junction box. If you are not comfortable with electrical work, hire a licensed electrician.
