The Kael is a compact curved wall sconce (6.7″ diameter) that mounts flush to your wall and casts soft ambient light downward and around the fixture. The warm glow works best in hallways, above consoles, beside beds, or flanking mirrors—anywhere you want accent lighting without glare. Check your wall for standard electrical outlet access before ordering, since this fixture is hardwired.

Can I use this as a bedside wall sconce or plug-in sconce?
This is a hardwired wall sconce, not a plug-in fixture. It installs permanently like a traditional wall light and connects to your home's electrical wiring via a wall switch. Two mounted side-by-side work well as bedside sconces.
What bulb does it take and is one included?
It takes an E12 or E14 base bulb (check your region; E14 is standard in Europe, E12 in North America). No bulb is included. Buy separately based on your preferred brightness and color temperature.
Does this work in a bathroom or outside?
No. This sconce is rated IP20 and indoor-only. It is not waterproof and will not survive damp or wet environments.
What is the difference between the brass and black versions?
Both use the same curved form and size. Brass has a warm metallic finish; black is matte. Choose based on your décor. Brass runs $127; black is $129.
