Yes. Bea is hardwired to your wall; a licensed electrician must run and connect the wiring. DIY installation is not safe.

Can I use this with a dimmer switch?

No. Bea works only with standard on/off switches.

What bulb do I need?

Any E26 or E27 base bulb (standard screw-in). Not included. Check brightness (lumens) and color temperature (Kelvin) for your space.

Can I use this in a bathroom or kitchen?

Bea is rated IP 20 and not waterproof. Keep it away from direct water spray; it's safe over a sink or vanity where splashes are light.
