Placing your order, modifying it, and the payment methods we accept.

  • We accept all major U.S. payment methods at our secure checkout:

    • Credit & Debit Cards — Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club
    • Digital Wallets — PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, Venmo
    • Buy Now, Pay Later — Klarna and Afterpay (split into 4 interest-free payments on eligible orders)

    All transactions are PCI-compliant and SSL encrypted. We never store your full payment details on our servers.

  • Yes. Our store is built on Shopify — one of the world's most trusted e-commerce platforms, used by over 4 million businesses globally. Every checkout page is SSL encrypted, and payment processing meets PCI DSS Level 1 standards (the highest level of credit card security).

  • Sales tax is calculated automatically at checkout based on your shipping address, in compliance with U.S. state tax laws. The exact amount appears on the order summary before you confirm payment — there are no hidden fees.

  • Yes — orders can typically be modified or cancelled free of charge before they enter production or fulfillment. For in-stock items, this is usually within 24 hours. For made-to-order pieces, you have a wider window.

  • U.S. customers: Standard orders ship from our U.S. fulfillment partners. All shipping and tariff fees are included in your order — no surprises at delivery.

    International customers: Customs duties and import taxes may apply depending on your country, and are the buyer's responsibility.

  • Yes. Interior designers, architects, and hospitality professionals can apply for our trade program for preferential pricing on bulk and recurring orders. See the Custom & Trade section below for full details.

  • You'll receive a confirmation email immediately after checkout, with your order number and full receipt. A second email with tracking information is sent the moment your order ships. If you don't see them, please check your spam folder before contacting us.

Shipping & Delivery

Lead times, costs, tracking, and what happens at your door.

  • Free standard shipping on qualifying orders within the contiguous 48 states — no minimum required on most fixtures.

    Hawaii, Alaska, and U.S. territories: a flat-rate shipping fee will be calculated at checkout. Oversized chandeliers may carry a freight surcharge that's clearly displayed before payment.

    Need it faster? Express shipping is available on most in-stock items at checkout.

  • Most Rayonshine fixtures are handmade-to-order, so timelines vary by product:

    • U.S. In-Stock Items: Dispatched within 1–3 business days; delivered in 3–7 business days via FedEx or UPS.
    • Factory-Direct / Made-to-Order: Typically 4–8 weeks total — exact lead time is shown on each product page.
    • Custom Pieces: 6–10 weeks from design approval to delivery.

    You'll receive progress updates throughout production so you're never left guessing.

  • Our primary market is the United States, but we ship internationally on request — Canada, Mexico, the U.K., Australia, and most of Western Europe. Shipping rates and lead times vary by destination.

    Email support@rayonshine.com with your address for a custom quote. International customers are responsible for any duties or import fees imposed by their country.

  • Once your order ships, you'll receive an email with a tracking link. You can also track any order from the Order Status link in your confirmation email, or by logging into your account.

    We typically ship via FedEx, UPS, or freight carriers (for larger fixtures). All trackable end-to-end.

  • We pack every piece with multiple layers of foam, custom inserts, and reinforced cartons — but if anything arrives damaged in transit:

    • Photograph the damaged packaging and product within 48 hours of delivery
    • Email support@rayonshine.com with your order number and photos
    • We cover all costs — full replacement or refund, no return shipping required
  • For larger chandeliers and statement pieces, white-glove delivery (inside placement, debris removal, scheduled appointment) is available in most U.S. metro areas as an upgraded shipping option, selectable at checkout where applicable.

Returns & Warranty

Our 30-day promise and what's covered after the box is opened.

  • We offer a 60-day return window from the date of delivery — far longer than most lighting brands.

    • Damaged or defective items: We cover all costs — full replacement or refund, no questions asked.
    • Change of mind: Accepted within 60 days. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility. Items must be unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging.

    Note: Custom and bespoke pieces (designed to your specific request) are non-returnable, as they are made uniquely for you. We always confirm specs in writing before production begins.

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we process your refund within 7–14 business days. You'll receive an email confirmation once it's initiated. The funds are returned to your original payment method.

  • If the item arrived damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered: we cover return shipping in full — including pickup arrangements where applicable.

    For change-of-mind returns: the customer is responsible for return shipping costs and packaging the item safely. We can recommend insured shipping options to protect your refund.

  • Email support@rayonshine.com with your order number and the reason for return. We'll respond within one business day with a return authorization (RMA) number and shipping instructions.

    Please don't ship the item back without contacting us first — unauthorized returns may be delayed or rejected.

  • Yes — return your original item and place a new order for the desired piece. Within the 60-day window, we'll prioritize your replacement and waive any restocking fees on direct exchanges.

  • Contact us immediately with your order number and photos. We will ship the missing component at no cost. For complex chandeliers and multi-arm fixtures, please check all packaging layers first — some hardware is intentionally packaged separately within the box for protection.

  • All Rayonshine fixtures come with a 2-year manufacturer's warranty covering:

    • Defects in materials or workmanship
    • Electrical components (sockets, drivers, internal wiring)
    • Finish failure under normal indoor use

    The warranty does not cover damage from improper installation, modifications, accidents, or normal wear. Bulbs are not covered (they're consumables).

    To make a warranty claim, email us with your order number, photos, and a brief description of the issue.

Authenticity, certifications, and what's actually inside our fixtures.

  • Yes — 100% genuine, hand-selected alabaster. Every shade is sliced from a quarried block of natural stone. We never use resin, printed plastic, or "stone-look" composites.

    Because it's real stone, every piece is one-of-a-kind: the veining patterns, translucency, and warm tones are all natural. No two fixtures look identical, which is exactly the point.

    • Natural Stone: Alabaster, Travertine, Marble, Onyx — unique natural veining on every piece
    • Metals: Solid brass, antique brass, polished nickel, matte black, aged bronze
    • Glass: Handblown glass, smoked and clear options, Italian-style designs
    • Natural Materials: Solid walnut and oak, bamboo, rattan, mulberry silk
    • Other: High-grade ceramic, plaster, hand-crafted shell elements

  • Yes. All Rayonshine fixtures use UL- or ETL-listed components (sockets, drivers, wiring) and are built to U.S. electrical safety standards. They are safe to install with any licensed electrician and pass inspection in all 50 states.

    For commercial or hospitality projects requiring full-fixture certification documentation, contact our trade desk.

  • Yes. All products on rayonshine.com are configured for U.S. standard voltage (110V–120V, 60Hz) unless otherwise stated. They install on standard U.S. junction boxes with no transformers or adapters needed.

    For international voltage (220V–240V), contact us before ordering — we can configure specific models for export.

  • Most Rayonshine fixtures use standard E26 (medium base) or E12 (candelabra) sockets — fitting any LED, halogen, or incandescent bulb sold in the U.S.

    For the warmest, most flattering glow through alabaster and natural stone, we recommend warm-white LED bulbs (2700K–3000K) at 40W or 60W equivalent. Bulbs are not included unless stated on the product page.

    Some integrated LED fixtures have built-in light sources (no bulb replacement needed). These are clearly marked on the product page.

  • Virtually all our fixtures are LED compatible, using up to 80% less energy than incandescent bulbs while lasting 15–25 times longer. We recommend warm-white LED (2700K–3000K) for the best aesthetic result combined with maximum efficiency.

  • Yes — most fixtures are dimmable when paired with a dimmable bulb and a compatible dimmer switch. For LEDs, we recommend a TRIAC LED-rated dimmer for smooth, flicker-free dimming.

    Integrated LED fixtures specify their dimming protocol (TRIAC, 0–10V, etc.) on the product page. Contact us before purchasing if you're unsure about your wiring setup.

  • Our standard finish library includes Antique Brass, Brushed Brass, Polished Nickel, Matte Black, Aged Bronze, and Champagne Gold. Specific options vary by product — check each product page for available finishes.

  • Yes — because we own our manufacturing, we can accommodate custom requests:

  • Yes — we provide complimentary 3D rendering to help you visualize how our lighting will look in your actual space before purchasing. Especially useful for large or custom orders, or when matching to specific room aesthetics.

  • Yes. The Rayonshine Trade Program is open to interior designers, architects, hospitality developers, and bulk purchasers. Benefits include:

  • There's no minimum for custom one-offs — we'll happily build a single bespoke piece. For wholesale and trade pricing, the minimum varies by collection. Contact our trade desk for current MOQ details.

Installation & Care

Installing your fixture and keeping it beautiful for years.

  • Our fixtures are designed for standard U.S. mounting (E26/E12 sockets, standard junction boxes). Plug-in styles can generally be installed without an electrician.

    For all hardwired fixtures — chandeliers, ceiling lights, hardwired wall sconces — we strongly recommend a licensed electrician for safety and code compliance. U.S. electrical codes require professional installation in many municipalities, and it's also necessary to maintain your warranty.

  • Yes. Every order ships with:

    • Step-by-step installation guide (English)
    • Mounting hardware suited to standard U.S. junction boxes
    • Wiring diagram and spec sheet
    • Care & cleaning instructions specific to your finish and material

    Digital copies are also available in the Downloads section of each product page.

  • Some quick rules of thumb that interior designers use:

    • Dining table chandelier: Diameter roughly 1/2 to 2/3 the table width.
    • Entryway / foyer: Add room length + width (in feet) — the result in inches is a good chandelier diameter (e.g., a 12 ft × 14 ft foyer = 26" chandelier).
    • Hanging height: Pendant bottoms should sit 7 ft from the floor in living areas, and 30–36 inches above a dining table surface.
    • Ceiling lights: For low ceilings (under 8 ft), choose flush-mount or semi-flush instead of pendants.

    If you're unsure, send us your room dimensions and we'll recommend a fixture size — no obligation.

  • Yes — most pendant lights and chandeliers come with adjustable cord or chain that can be shortened during installation. The maximum included length is listed in each product's specifications.

    For higher ceilings or extended drops, contact us before ordering. We can supply custom lengths at no extra charge for most fixtures.

  • Natural stone is delicate and requires gentle care:

    • Dust regularly with a soft, dry microfiber cloth
    • For deeper cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth with distilled water only — never tap water (mineral residue can mark the stone)
    • Avoid any household cleaners, glass cleaners, alcohol, vinegar, or abrasive products — they can permanently etch the surface

    For metal components, a dry microfiber cloth is sufficient. Re-sealing is not necessary for indoor fixtures.

  • Our outdoor fixtures are weather-resistant and carry IP ratings listed on each product page:

    • IP44 — Suitable for covered outdoor areas (porches, patios under roof)
    • IP65 — Rated for direct rain exposure and full outdoor installation

    Most indoor Rayonshine fixtures are rated for indoor dry locations only — living rooms, bedrooms, hallways. Damp-rated versions for bathrooms are available for select products.

  • We stock replacement parts for all current collections — sockets, mounting hardware, individual stone shades, glass diffusers, etc. Contact support@rayonshine.com with your order number and the part you need. Most replacements ship within 5 business days.
