The Three Arm Ceiling Lamp (1958) is a suspended interpretation of the original Three Arm Floor Lamp, preserving the dynamic, sculptural aesthetic of the mid-century original. Every lighting solution in the family carries the designer's signature hardware: the way the arms meet the diffusers, the washer-and-hex-screw fittings, the quiet form of the reflector, and the refined geometry of the steel tubes. Offered in black or white lacquered finishes with warm brass ball joints, it anchors a dining room, hallway, or kitchen island with quiet presence.

- Hardwired ceiling installation — a licensed electrician is recommended for safe mounting, wiring, and canopy attachment.
- Fits a standard ceiling junction box. All mounting hardware and the canopy plate (Ø 12 × H 21 cm) are included in the box.
- Install 3 bulbs (3heads version) or 6 bulbs (6heads version), E26 or E27 base, 18W maximum per arm. Warm white (2700K–3000K) is recommended for the most flattering light.
- For dimming, pair a dimmable LED bulb with a compatible TRIAC dimmer switch. The lamp itself supports full-range AC 110–240V worldwide.
- Check bulb orientation before powering on — the conical reflectors direct light downward, so use standard (not reverse-base) bulbs for the best effect.
09 Questions Frequently Asked
Are bulbs included?
No. The lamp takes standard E26 or E27 screw-base bulbs — 3 bulbs for the 3heads version and 6 bulbs for the 6heads version. Each arm is rated for 18W maximum. We recommend warm white (2700K–3000K) dimmable LED bulbs at 5–10W for the most flattering glow and lowest heat output.
Is the lamp dimmable?
Yes. The lamp works with standard household switches and is compatible with dimmers. To dim the light, install dimmable LED bulbs and pair them with a TRIAC-compatible dimmer switch (e.g. Lutron Skylark, Leviton Decora). The lamp itself does not have a built-in dimmer.
What's the difference between the 3heads and 6heads versions?
Only the length and light output differ — the structural design, finish, and signature hardware are identical. The 3heads is L 150cm (~5 kg) — suited to most dining tables, kitchen islands, and hallways. The 6heads is L 220cm (~10 kg) — designed for larger tables, double-length islands, and more dramatic interior statements. The 6heads version needs more ceiling clearance and a stronger junction box.
Can I use Three Arm on both 110V and 220V circuits?
Yes. The lamp supports full-range AC 110–240V and is certified for North America, Europe, Australia, and the Middle East — no additional transformer required. Just pair it with bulbs rated for your local voltage.
Can I install it in a bathroom or covered outdoor area?
No. Three Arm is IP20-rated for dry indoor use only — not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms, saunas, covered porches, or any outdoor installation. Keep the lamp away from moisture, steam, and direct heat sources.
Will the brass ball joints tarnish over time?
The brass joints develop a subtle, natural patina with time — a gentle deepening of tone that many owners prefer as part of the piece's character. To slow patination, wipe the joints gently with a dry soft cloth; to maintain the original bright finish, a non-abrasive brass polish can be used sparingly. Never use household cleaners on the lacquered arms and diffusers.
Do I need a professional electrician to install this?
Yes, we strongly recommend a licensed electrician. The lamp is hardwired, needs a secure ceiling junction box rated for its weight (especially the 10 kg 6heads version), and must be properly grounded. A professional will also ensure correct dimmer compatibility if you plan to use one.
How do I clean the lamp?
With the power off, gently dust the arms, diffusers, and canopy with a soft dry microfiber cloth. For the lacquered surfaces, avoid household cleaners, solvents, and abrasives — they can damage the finish. For the brass joints, a dry soft cloth is sufficient; a mild brass polish can be applied sparingly if a brighter finish is desired.
