Is this a plug-in pendant light or hardwired?
Hardwired only. Requires connection to your ceiling junction box during installation. Not suitable for renters without landlord approval.
Can I use this as pendant lighting over my kitchen island?
Yes—use the 40cm, 50cm, or 60cm size depending on island length. Mount it 24–30 inches above the countertop. Confirm your ceiling has an electrical box beforehand.
What happens to the glue marks I see inside the shade?
Hand-bonding leaves minor glue traces along seams. This is normal, does not affect light output, and does not worsen over time.
Will this work with a dimmer switch?
Yes. Use a dimmer-compatible LED or incandescent bulb. Test the bulb brand with your dimmer first—some LEDs flicker on certain dimmers.
