It takes one small E12 (candelabra) or E14 base bulb, not included. A warm-white LED around 2700K gives a soft glow; check the wattage limit printed on the fixture before buying.

Can I use this beside a bathroom mirror?

It's rated IP20, meaning dry indoor locations only — it isn't sealed against moisture or steam, so it's not suited to bathrooms or powder rooms.
