The Nelson Ball Crisscross Bubble Pendant is a modern interpretation of George Nelson’s 1952 design, crafted using innovative post-World War II U.S. military techniques and surplus materials. Its lightweight steel wireframe retains its form under tension, showcasing an elegant crisscross pattern of interconnected wires. The pendant’s translucent white plastic coating diffuses light softly, creating an organic, ambient glow. Ideal for cluster arrangements, it offers a refined lighting solution that combines historical craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetic sensibilities.

Perfect size for our small entry way with a high ceiling, and gives off a lot of light since the bulb isnt enclosed. The bubble look makes it a good mix of natural and modern.

I hung this pendant in my bedroom room a year ago or so and it was a fantastic addition! It looks fabulous and adds a warm glow in the room. I particularly like that you cannot see the light bulb so there is no glare in your eyes at night.
I ordered another light that was bigger for a light grouping and loved it so much I ordered this one which is smaller. Love it!! And you dont have to put them together!!!
It is just the bit of wow I used to finish the charcoal grey walls, white trim in the small separate warmer closet (WC) attached to my master bath and complements the charcoal vanity, variegated grey porcelain floor planks, grey wall tile w/accent tile border. Wow factor in my 20 year house at the beach!
