Is a bulb included?
No. You supply a GU10 base bulb separately.
Can I use it with a regular candle, or only wax melts?
Both. Set an unlit candle or a scented wax melt on the base and the bulb's heat warms it from above — the flame stays off either way.
Can I pose the figure?
Yes. The joints are articulated, so you can adjust the figure's stance and the angle of the light source.
Which glass colors are available?
The glass shade comes in Yellow, Green, White, or Pink.
Is it dimmable?
It uses a simple push-button on/off switch and isn't dimmable on its own. Pair it with a dimmable GU10 bulb and a compatible smart plug or wall dimmer for brightness control.

The design idea
Why the light sits above the candle
Most of a candle's fragrance is held in the top layer of wax. A wick only melts a small circle around itself, and it burns the scent as it goes. So we moved the heat to where the fragrance is.
Heat from the top downWarmth lands straight on the wax surface instead of the bottom of the glass.
Edge-to-edge meltThe whole surface melts at once, so the candle never tunnels.
Nothing ever burnsNo soot on the jar or walls, and no scorched top notes.
How it works
Lit without a match
Four steps from switch to scent. The candle is never lit.
1Fit a GU10 halogen
Push into the socket under the shade and twist to lock.
2Set the jar beneath
Center it under the bulb. Leave the lid off and the wick unlit.
3Switch on
The shade glows and directs the bulb's warmth downward.
4Let the pool form
Usually 20–30 minutes, then the fragrance fills the room.
What's happening inside the shade
The halogen filament gives off light and infrared warmth together. The shade catches the warmth that would normally rise away and turns it onto the candle. The top layer of wax liquefies, and the fragrance lifts off the whole surface. Switch off, and the wax sets flat, ready for next time.

Every lamp in the series plugs into a standard wall outlet.
- Unpack the base, arm, shade and cord. Attach the shade if it ships separately.
- Fit the bulb: GU10 halogen, within the wattage marked on the lamp.
- Place the lamp on a flat, level surface near an outlet.
- Center your candle under the bulb, lid off, wick unlit.
- Plug in and switch on with the plug type you chose (US, UK, EU or AU).

No flame doesn't mean no heat. Treat the shade like a hot lightbulb.

Questions
Why halogen and not LED?
LEDs are built to run cool, so they light the lamp but can't melt wax. Halogen gives off warmth with its light, and that warmth melts the candle.
Will my candle fit?
Most standard jar candles do. Compare your jar's height with the space between the base and the bulb in the product's dimension drawing, leaving a gap between rim and bulb.
Can I use it just as a lamp?
Yes. With no candle underneath, it works as a warm accent light.
How do I know a candle is finished?
When the wax melts but you can no longer smell it, the fragrance is spent. The wax stays behind because it was never burned.
Will the marble look like the photos?
Each base has its own natural veining. Email us before or right after ordering if you'd like photos of the available bases before dispatch.
