01Overview
Travertine and walnut pendant that works alone or grouped, three sizes for any ceiling height.
The Toledo is a shallow pendant—7 inches tall—that reads as a sculptural disk, not a hanging blob. Warm light pools downward through the travertine without glare; the wood canopy anchors it visually. Mount one over a kitchen sink or bar, or hang three to five across an island. Check your ceiling type: flat installation only, not sloped.

Can I use this over a kitchen island?
Yes. Space three to five pendants 24–30 inches apart across a 36–48 inch island. Use the medium or large size for better coverage and visual weight.
Does it work with dimmers?
Yes, it's fully compatible with standard household dimmers. Use a dimmable LED bulb for flicker-free control.
What bulb do I need?
Any E26 or E27 base bulb. We recommend warm white 2700K LED (60W equivalent or less) to match the wood and stone tones. Bulb not included.
Can I install this on a sloped ceiling?
No, flat ceilings only. The canopy and cable suspension are designed for horizontal mounting.

Stone thatholds the light
Travertine is a limestone laid down by mineral springs, layer over layer, with gas bubbles trapped inside. We cut it, shape it by hand and leave those pores open, so every lamp carries the record of how its stone was made.

From block to lamp
Every piece in the series goes through the same four stages in the workshop.
01Choosing the block
Blocks are sorted by tone and pore density. Stone with deep cracks or large voids is set aside, since it can't hold a thin wall.
02Cutting
Water-cooled saws cut each block into slabs, discs and cylinders. The direction of the cut decides whether the shade shows stripes or clouds.
03Shaping by hand
Shades are turned, carved and drilled one at a time. Edges are rounded off by hand so the stone feels soft, not sharp.
04Finishing and fitting
Surfaces are ground smooth and polished, with the pores left open. Each shade is then fitted with its hardware and lit before it ships.

A fold cut into solid stone. On Kennett, the bulb hides behind a carved flap, so light spills down the wall with no visible source.

Bored from solid. The socket sits inside the stone itself.

What natural stone means for you

- Pits are part of the stoneSmall holes and shifts in tone are how travertine forms, not defects.
- Keep it dryThe stone is porous and unsealed, so the series is for dry indoor rooms only (IP20).
- Dust, don't washUse a soft, dry cloth. Skip water, acidic or harsh cleaners, and stone sealers.
