Hang 30–36″ above the table top; the fixture about two-thirds of the table width, centred on the long axis. Add 3″ per foot of ceiling above 8 ft.

01Overview

Flat white disc reflects light from an inverted black cone—minimal geometry, soft illumination.

A 40cm pendant that reads as a floating moon: white aluminum disc with a black cone suspended below. The cone directs warm or cool light upward, bouncing off the disc for even, glare-free output. Works over kitchen islands, dining tables, or entryways—confirm your ceiling can accept hardwired installation before ordering.

Is this a plug-in pendant light?

No. This is hardwired to your ceiling. It requires professional or experienced DIY installation into your home's electrical system.

Can I use it on a sloped ceiling?

No. The fixture is designed for flat roof installation only.

What bulb do I need?

Any standard E26 or E27 base bulb. At checkout, select warm white or cool white. The bulb is not included.

Is this good for kitchen island lighting?

Yes. The 40cm diameter and upward-directed light work well over islands and dining tables. Pair the warm white option with dimmers for flexible ambiance.
