01Overview

Hand-blown glass dewdrops on a nickel frame cast soft, patterned light across dining rooms and bedrooms.

The Graniglia is a cascading chandelier with individual glass pendants cut in a diamond pattern, available in two sizes to suit different ceiling heights. Each pendant glows with warm, diffused light—no harsh spots. Install it in a dining room, bedroom, or entryway; check your ceiling height against the fixture depth before ordering.

Glass that remembers the hand that shaped it

Hand-blown on a Venetian lagoon island. No two chandeliers leave the furnace identical.

1291Year glassmaking moved to Murano

100%Hand-formed glass

Isolde tiered Murano glass chandelier, close detail of layered glass tiers — Isolde Tiered Chandelier

A seven-century workshop

In 1291 Venice moved its furnaces to one island. The glass never left.

Murano glass is a way of working: molten glass shaped by a maestro, breath and hand, exactly as it has always been.

Each element is formed while glowing, then annealed slowly for strength. The result has a soft, liquid surface machine-pressed glass can't copy.

Petals, discs, teardrops, clouds — each one shows the marks of its making.

Small bubbles and uneven edges are not defects. They are the signature of the maestro.

Gather

Molten glass collected at 1,100°C and centred on a steel marver.

Blow & shape

The maestro shapes each petal, leaf or disc by hand.

Colour

Mineral oxides melted into the batch — colour that never fades.

Anneal

24 hours cooling in a lehr for lasting strength.

Each element is made individually — expect slight variation in size, shade and shape.

Assembled and inspected before packing, with each piece in its own foam cavity.

Day and evening

A sculpture by day, a lantern by night

Off, a solid object. On, a diffuser — light scatters through the glass, warmer and softer.

GlowWarm 2700K bulbs recommended.
DimmingWorks with standard dimmers.
ShadowTextured pieces cast soft ceiling patterns.

Care

Made to be touched, occasionally

Dust

Soft, dry cloth, every few weeks. Switch off first.

Clean

Lukewarm water, mild soap, dry fully before rehanging.

Avoid

Ammonia and abrasive cleaners — they dull the surface.

Replace

Every element is sold individually — we'll match the colour.

Watch the making
