A compact pendant light pairing a textured travertine sphere with frosted glass—11cm wide, 12cm tall. The G9 bulb sits inside the glass, casting soft ambient light through both materials. Is this a plug-in pendant light?
No. It requires hardwired ceiling installation by an electrician. Flat roof mounting only—not compatible with sloped ceilings.
Does the bulb come with it?
No. You need to purchase a G9 base bulb separately. The fixture works with standard household switches and dimmers.
Can I shorten or lengthen the 170cm cable?
The standard cable is 170cm (66.9″). Custom lengths are available upon request—contact support with your preferred height.
Will the travertine look exactly like the photos?
No. Natural travertine patterns vary by piece. Your fixture will differ from the images shown, but retain the same warm, textured aesthetic.

Stone thatholds the light
Travertine is a limestone laid down by mineral springs, layer over layer, with gas bubbles trapped inside. We cut it, shape it by hand and leave those pores open, so every lamp carries the record of how its stone was made.

From block to lamp
Every piece in the series goes through the same four stages in the workshop.
01Choosing the block
Blocks are sorted by tone and pore density. Stone with deep cracks or large voids is set aside, since it can't hold a thin wall.
02Cutting
Water-cooled saws cut each block into slabs, discs and cylinders. The direction of the cut decides whether the shade shows stripes or clouds.
03Shaping by hand
Shades are turned, carved and drilled one at a time. Edges are rounded off by hand so the stone feels soft, not sharp.
04Finishing and fitting
Surfaces are ground smooth and polished, with the pores left open. Each shade is then fitted with its hardware and lit before it ships.

Travertine forms in horizontal bands. Cut across them or along them, and the same block gives two completely different surfaces.

A fold cut into solid stone. On Kennett, the bulb hides behind a carved flap, so light spills down the wall with no visible source.
Carved ribs. Candeeiro's rippled body, shaped by hand.
Softened edges. Lindby's bezel, rounded over by hand.
Bored from solid. The socket sits inside the stone itself.
Stone and wood. A walnut-color sphere caps Herda.
A warm underside. Light pools inside Sumit's shallow bowl.

What natural stone means for you
- Yours will be one of a kindThe shape and color match the photos. The veining and pores won't, because no two blocks are the same.
- Pits are part of the stoneSmall holes and shifts in tone are how travertine forms, not defects.
- Keep it dryThe stone is porous and unsealed, so the series is for dry indoor rooms only (IP20).
- Dust, don't washUse a soft, dry cloth. Skip water, acidic or harsh cleaners, and stone sealers.
