01Overview

A sleek tapered spire pierces a softly textured cocoon silk shade.

The Ames Silk Spire Floor Lamp pierces a softly textured cocoon shade in natural mulberry silk with a sleek, tapered black spire, so light diffuses through the silk's own texture. It's a plug-in fixture with an integrated warm LED, well suited to a reading nook, a living room corner, or a bedroom.

07Questions

Is this hardwired, or does it plug in?

It plugs into a standard wall outlet with a 150 cm (59") cord and an in-line switch — no wiring or electrician needed.

Can I replace the bulb?

No. The LED is integrated — there's no bulb to buy, swap, or match. When the LED eventually reaches end of life, the fixture itself would need replacing.

Can I use this in a bathroom?

It's rated IP20, meaning indoor use only and not sealed against moisture or splashing — keep it clear of direct water contact.

How do I clean the silk shade?

Dust gently with a soft, dry brush. Avoid water and household cleaners on the silk, and always unplug before cleaning.

Is this dimmable?

Dimming isn't specified for this integrated LED — it's fixed at warm white 3000K.
