A small metal cylinder with a large ambition — to project a perfect circle of warm light onto your wall, a portable sunset on demand.
Sunset is a color projector carved from a solid block of anodised aluminium, housing a high-power integrated LED and a finely tuned optical system. Its purpose is singular: to cast a perfectly circular halo of sunset-toned light onto a wall or ceiling, turning a corner of a room into something closer to a painting. At the heart of the project is the intangible — the light itself. The idea is a compact, minimal object that brings a new, quietly metaphysical atmosphere of colour into the home.

Placement
How to Get the Best Halo
- Choose a plain wall or flat surface. The halo reads best against a smooth, lightly-coloured wall — white, warm grey, or soft beige. Highly patterned or textured walls will break up the projected circle.
- Experiment with distance. Close to the wall (20–40 cm) produces a small, concentrated halo with a brighter core. Further away (60–120 cm) produces a softer, larger wash of colour. There's no fixed right answer — adjust to the room.
- Aim upward for drama. Sitting Sunset on a low shelf, bedside table, or floor-level surface with the lens pointing up at the wall creates the most cinematic halo. Aiming at a ceiling corner gives a gentle "sunset glow" effect overhead.
- Best in low ambient light. The halo is its most evocative at dusk or in a dimly-lit room — the red-orange circle reads as a painted atmosphere. In bright daylight, the effect is subtle.
- Charge before first use. Connect the supplied USB cable to a standard USB-A or USB-C power source (wall adapter, laptop, or power bank) and allow a full charge before use. Use the inline on/off switch for operation.

What exactly does this lamp do?
Sunset is a color projector, not a standard room lamp. An integrated LED and an internal optical lens system project a perfect circle of Sunset Red light onto any nearby wall or surface — an atmospheric halo that looks a little like a dusk sun caught on your wall. It's designed to shape the mood of a space, not to light a room for reading.
Can I change the halo colour?
No. Sunset projects a single fixed colour: Sunset Red. The integrated LED and optical lens are calibrated specifically for this warm red-orange tone, which is central to the design and character of the piece. There are no alternative colour modes.
Does it come with a bulb? Can I change the LED?
No bulb is needed — the LED is integrated into the lamp body and tuned to work precisely with the optical system to produce the halo effect. You never need to change a bulb; the LED is built in for the product's lifetime.
Is it cordless? How is it powered?
Sunset is USB-powered and rechargeable. A USB charging cable is included — plug it into any standard USB power source (a wall adapter, a laptop USB port, or a power bank) to charge or run the lamp. Once charged, it can be placed anywhere without being tethered to a wall outlet. An inline on/off switch controls operation.
How should I position it to get the best effect?
Point the lamp at a plain wall, ideally lightly coloured (white, cream, or pale grey). Close to the wall (20–40 cm) gives a concentrated halo; further away gives a softer wash of light. The most dramatic effect is in a dimly lit or evening-lit room — the halo reads as a painted circle of sunset. Aiming upward toward a ceiling corner is a popular way to install it.
Can I use it in a bedroom or as a nightlight?
Yes — it's an ideal bedroom mood light. Placed on a bedside table or dresser, pointing at a wall or ceiling, the warm red halo creates a very calming, dusk-like atmosphere. Because the LED is low-heat, it's safe to leave on for extended reading or winding-down sessions.
Is Sunset dimmable?
The lamp has a simple inline on/off switch — no built-in dimmer. However, because the LED is integrated with fixed output, dimming is not a functional feature of this product. The halo is designed to sit at a specific, curated brightness.
Can I use it on both 110V and 220V circuits?
Yes. The USB cable plugs into any USB power source, and USB adapters typically accept full-range AC 110–240V — compatible with outlets in North America, Europe, Australia, and the Middle East. No additional transformer required.
Can I install Sunset in a bathroom or outdoors?
No. Sunset is for dry indoor use only. Keep it away from moisture, steam, and direct heat sources — it's not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms, saunas, or any outdoor environment.
How do I clean it?
With the lamp off and cool, wipe the aluminium body gently with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. For the lens area, use a camera-lens cleaning cloth or a dry microfiber — avoid cleaning fluids, which can fog or damage the optical surface. Never use abrasive sponges, solvents, or household cleaners on the anodised finish.
