The Paxton Alabaster Travertine Wall Sconce pairs two natural stones in one sculptural form. A body of beige travertine frames a core of white Spanish alabaster that glows from a built-in warm 3000K LED, casting a soft, diffused light. Every alabaster core is unique — as a natural stone, its veining and translucency differ from piece to piece, so no two lights are ever the same. Mount it in a Japandi living room, a warm minimalist entryway, along a hallway, or beside the bed.

Is this hardwired, or does it plug in?
It's hardwired, with no plug or cord, and is controlled by a standard wall switch. We recommend installation by a licensed electrician.
Do I need to buy a bulb?
No. The light source is a built-in 12W LED in warm white (3000K). There are no bulbs or sockets, and the LED is not user-replaceable.
Are there natural variations in the stone?
Yes. Both travertine and alabaster are natural stones, so pores, veining, tone, and translucency vary piece to piece — no two sconces are identical.
Can I use this in a bathroom?
It's rated IP20, meaning dry indoor locations only — it isn't sealed against moisture or steam, and both stones are porous and can absorb humidity, so it's not suited to bathrooms.
How do I care for the stone?
Wipe gently with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid water, oils, and household cleaners, which can soak into the stone and leave marks.
