The Maelis Funnel Wall Sconce pairs mid-century minimalism with industrial refinement. Its conical shade in weathered brass sits on a swivel joint that tilts 180° up and down and turns 270° side to side, so you can direct a warm glow onto a book, a bedside table, or the wall. Use it in a reading nook, in a pair flanking the bed, along a hallway gallery wall, or beside a living room seating area.

Is this hardwired, or does it plug in?
It's hardwired, with no plug or cord. It connects to your existing wiring and is turned on and off by a standard wall switch. We recommend installation by a licensed electrician.
Does it have an on/off switch on the fixture?
No. The sconce has no switch of its own — it's controlled by the wall switch it's wired to, and works with common wall switches.
How far does the shade adjust?
The swivel joint tilts the shade 180° up and down and rotates it 270° left and right, so you can aim light at a book, the bed, or the wall.
Is a bulb included?
No. You supply an E26 or E27 base bulb separately. Check the wattage limit printed on the fixture before buying.
Can I use this in a bathroom?
It's rated IP20, meaning indoor use only and not sealed against moisture or splashing — keep it clear of direct water contact.
How do I care for the brass finish?
Wipe gently with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid water, polish, and household cleaners, which can damage the weathered finish.
