Bedside & reading
Seated, the bottom of the shade should sit at about eye level so the bulb never shows. A pair on matching nightstands keeps the room symmetrical.

08Questions
Do I need to buy a bulb separately?
Yes. The lamp takes an E26 or E27 base bulb (standard size). Bulb not included.
Which plug type should I choose?
Select the plug that matches your country: US (two flat pins), UK (three rectangular pins), AU (two angled flat pins), or EU (two round pins).
Can I use this as a bedside lamp?
Yes. It fits a nightstand and the 150 cm cord reaches most bedside outlets. The cone shade focuses light downward.
Is the base stable on a desk?
The walnut block provides a solid base, but place it on a flat surface. The lamp is not weighted for high-traffic areas.

The Orwell family
Same glass, other forms.
Finish the room in one material — a pendant over the bedside, a chandelier over the table.
