Bedside & reading
Seated, the bottom of the shade should sit at about eye level so the bulb never shows. A pair on matching nightstands keeps the room symmetrical.

08Questions
What is the shade and body made of?
The shade is borosilicate glass paired with a metal stem and base. It holds up indoors and outdoors.
Can it be dimmed?
Yes. Touch the top to dim and cycle through three color temperatures—warm white (3000K), neutral (4500K), or cool white (6000K)—in one motion.
Can the cord length be changed?
This lamp is cordless and runs on an internal battery, so there's no cord to adjust. It charges via USB cable and needs no outlet or permanent wiring.
Can it go on a sloped or vaulted ceiling?
This is a table lamp designed to sit on a surface, not mount to a ceiling.
Does it run on US household power?
It runs on an internal rechargeable battery. The USB charger accepts 100–240V input, so it works with standard US outlets; one full charge powers 8–10 hours of continuous use.
Is it approved for US use and do you ship here?
Yes to both. We ship free to all 50 states.
