Is this hardwired, or does it plug in?
It's hardwired, with no plug or cord, and is controlled by a standard wall switch. We recommend installation by a licensed electrician.
Do I need to buy a bulb?
No. The light source is a built-in 12W LED in warm white (3000K). There are no bulbs or sockets, and the LED is not user-replaceable.
Which way does the light go?
Both up and down, washing the wall above and below the stone for a soft, layered glow.
Will my travertine look exactly like the photos?
No two are identical. Travertine is a natural stone, so its pores, veining, and tone vary from piece to piece — part of its organic character.
Can I use this in a bathroom or powder room?
It's rated IP20, meaning dry indoor locations only — it isn't sealed against moisture or steam, and travertine is a porous stone that can absorb humidity and stain, so it's not suited to bathrooms or powder rooms.
How do I care for the travertine?
Wipe gently with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid water, oils, and household cleaners, which can soak into the pores and mark the stone.
