The Wells Mulberry Silk Wall Sconce draws on raw silkworm cocoons and the soft light of a full moon. A 20 cm sphere wrapped in natural mulberry silk, with visible fibers and a tactile, wabi-sabi texture, mounts directly to the wall and filters the light into a gentle, ambient glow. Use one beside the bed, or a series along an entryway, a hallway, or a stairwell, in Japandi and warm minimalist rooms.

Is this hardwired, or does it plug in?
It's hardwired, with no plug or cord. We recommend installation by a licensed electrician.
What bulb does it take?
One G9 bi-pin LED bulb, not included. LEDs stay cool, which is important with a silk shade — avoid halogen G9 bulbs. Around 3000K gives a warm glow.
Will the silk look exactly like the photos?
Not exactly. Mulberry silk is a natural fiber, so the pattern of fibers on each sphere varies slightly from piece to piece.
Is there a matching pendant?
Yes. The Jonas Organic Sphere Pendant Light uses the same silk-over-shell construction (Model B), in sizes from 40 to 120 cm.
Can I use this in a bathroom or powder room?
It's rated IP20, meaning dry indoor locations only — it isn't sealed against moisture or steam, and silk can be damaged by humidity, so it's not suited to bathrooms or powder rooms.
