What is the shade and body made of?
The body is frosted glass with gold metal accents on details like the eyes, beak, and ears. The frosted white glass emits soft, warm light, and the gold trim catches light without glare.
Can this lamp be dimmed?
This lamp uses an inline toggle on/off switch. Dimming capability depends on the G9 bulb you install—choose a dimmable G9 LED if you want dimmer-switch compatibility on your wall.
Can I change the cord length?
The lamp comes with a 59″ cord and inline on/off switch. Since this is a table lamp designed for desktop or shelf use, the fixed cord length works for placement near a standard outlet.
Will this work on a sloped or vaulted ceiling?
This is a table lamp, not a ceiling fixture, so it sits on a desk, shelf, or nightstand rather than mounting overhead.
Does it run on US household power?
Yes. The lamp accepts AC 110–240V universal input, so it works on US power. You'll choose your plug type (US, UK, EU, or AU) at checkout—the plug is fixed and cannot be swapped afterward, so confirm your outlet type before ordering.
Is it approved for US use and do you ship here?
Yes to both. We ship free to all 50 states. The lamp is rated for indoor dry rooms only and must not be used in bathrooms or kitchens where steam and moisture are present.
