Can I use this as a plug-in wall sconce?
No. This is hardwired only, meaning it connects permanently to your home's electrical system. You'll need a licensed electrician to install it safely.
What bulb do I need and where do I buy it?
E26 or E27 base, warm white 2700K–3000K recommended. Standard bulbs sold at hardware stores, supermarkets, and online retailers. LED lasts longest and runs coolest.
Can I use this in a bathroom above the sink?
Yes, but only in a dry area away from shower spray or tub splash. The IP 20 rating means it's not waterproof. Install it at least 5–6 feet from active water sources.
Will this work in a rental apartment?
No. Hardwired installation requires cutting into walls and connecting to electrical wiring—modifications a landlord will not permit. Consider a plug-in sconce instead.
