Can I install this where an old flush mount light already exists?
Yes. If the existing canopy and wiring are compatible, your electrician can often reuse them. Confirm mounting size and electrical specs with installation guide before starting.
Does this work with dimmer switches?
Yes, it is dimmer-compatible. Your bulb choice also matters—not all LED bulbs dim smoothly; check the bulb label.
What bulb do I need to buy?
Any E26 or E27 screw-in bulb up to the wattage your home's circuit allows (typically 60W incandescent equivalent or higher LED). Bulb not included.
Is the ceramic shade hand-painted, or is the design printed?
Hand-painted. Each shade varies slightly. Motifs include autumn maple leaves and soft feathers in muted, natural tones.
