The Isambard Lantern Brass Pendant Light draws on Industrial Era engineering and maritime craftsmanship. An antique brass frame holds clear glass panels with exposed hardware detailing, so an Edison-style bulb glows warmly inside. Is this hardwired, or does it plug in?
It's hardwired. The fixture connects directly to a ceiling junction box, so installation by a licensed electrician is recommended. It does not come with a plug.
Is a bulb included?
No. You supply an E26 or E27 base bulb separately. Because the bulb is fully visible through the clear glass, an Edison-style bulb looks best. Check the wattage limit printed on the fixture before buying.
How many should I hang over a kitchen island?
At 14 cm (5.5") across, it's a compact lantern — a row of three works well over a typical island or counter.
Can the cord length be adjusted?
The twisted cord runs up to 180 cm (70.8"). If you need a longer drop, contact our team before ordering — custom lengths are available on request.
Can I use this in a bathroom?
It's rated IP20, meaning indoor use only and not sealed against moisture or splashing — keep it clear of direct water contact.
How do I clean it?
Wipe the brass frame with a dry, soft cloth. Clean the glass panels with a soft cloth; avoid abrasive or harsh cleaners on the brass.
