What is the shade and base made of?
The base is hand-formed smoky crystal, glazed for depth and visual interest. The shade is a cylinder of beige fabric that diffuses light evenly.
Can this lamp be dimmed?
Yes. We build this lamp to order with triac dimming capability, so you can control brightness smoothly with a compatible dimmer switch.
Can I change the cord length?
The standard cord is 59 inches with the switch and plug pre-fitted. We build to order, so a different length can be made to suit your table height and outlet position.
Can this go on a sloped or vaulted ceiling?
This is a table lamp, not a ceiling fixture, so ceiling slope does not apply. It sits on a nightstand, side table, or desk.
Does this run on US household power?
Yes. It plugs into a standard US outlet (NEMA 5-15) and works on 110–240V AC. Choose any E26 or E27 base bulb up to 60W for safety.
