Seated, the bottom of the shade should sit at about eye level so the bulb never shows. A pair on matching nightstands keeps the room symmetrical.

01Overview

Stacked cubes of grey marble, topped with a textured linen drum.

The Basil Stacked Cube Table Lamp draws on brutalist architecture and organic modern design. Solid cubes of natural veined grey marble stack into a bold geometric base, finished with antique brass accents and crowned with a textured linen drum shade that diffuses a warm, inviting glow. As a natural stone, every base has its own veining and tone, so no two lamps are exactly alike. Choose a black or white shade for a living room end table, an entryway console, a home office credenza, or a bedroom nightstand.

07Questions

Is it plug-in?

Yes. It plugs into a standard outlet and turns on and off with the in-line switch on its 150 cm (59") cord — no installation needed.

Will my base look exactly like the photos?

Not exactly. The cubes are natural grey marble, so the veining pattern and tone vary from piece to piece — part of what makes each lamp one of a kind.

Black or white shade?

The white shade gives a brighter, softer glow and a lighter look. The black shade directs light down and out, for a moodier, more graphic contrast with the grey marble.

What bulb does it take?

It takes one standard E26 or E27 bulb, not included. A warm-white LED around 3000K suits the linen shade; check the wattage limit on the fixture before buying.

How do I care for the marble?

Wipe with a dry, soft cloth only. Avoid water and household cleaners — natural marble can absorb liquids and stain.
