The Aldous Gooseneck Wall Sconce draws on early 20th-century industrial design, bringing vintage industrial and modern farmhouse character to the wall. A gracefully curved gooseneck arm holds a classic cone shade over an antique-style turn-knob socket, sending a warm glow downward. Mount it beside the bed as a reading light, in a reading nook, or along an entryway, hallway, or kitchen workspace — at home in rustic farmhouse, transitional, and vintage-revival rooms.

Is this hardwired, or does it plug in?
It's hardwired, with no plug or cord, and is controlled by a standard wall switch. We recommend installation by a licensed electrician.
What does the turn knob do?
The brass turn knob on the socket switches the light on and off at the fixture, in addition to your wall switch.
Is a bulb included?
No. You supply an E26 or E27 base bulb separately. Check the wattage limit printed on the fixture before buying.
Can I use this beside a bathroom mirror?
It's rated IP20, meaning dry indoor locations only — it isn't sealed against moisture or steam, so it's not suited to bathrooms or other damp areas.
How do I care for the finish?
Wipe gently with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid water, polish, and household cleaners, which can damage the finish.
