The Aldous Alabaster Wall Sconce draws on natural stone and minimalist architectural form. Carved Spanish alabaster cylinder shades sit in weathered brass metalwork, softening a built-in warm 3000K LED into a diffused ambient glow that brings out the stone's natural veining. Every alabaster shade is unique — as a natural stone, its veining and translucency differ from piece to piece, so no two lights are ever the same. Mount it along a hallway gallery wall, in a pair framing a headboard, or in a foyer or dining room.

Is this hardwired, or does it plug in?
It's hardwired, with no plug or cord, and is controlled by a standard wall switch. We recommend installation by a licensed electrician.
Are there natural variations in the alabaster?
Yes. Alabaster is a natural stone, so veining and translucency vary piece to piece — no two shades are identical.
Should I choose one or two heads?
The single head (9 cm wide) suits narrow walls, hallways, and bedside spots. The two-head version (18.5 cm wide) gives more light and presence in a foyer or dining room.
Do I need to buy a bulb?
No. The light source is a built-in LED in warm white (3000K) that brings out the stone's glow. There are no bulbs or sockets, and the LED is not user-replaceable.
Can I use this beside a bathroom mirror?
It's rated IP20, meaning dry indoor locations only — it isn't sealed against moisture or steam, and alabaster is a soft, porous stone, so it's not suited to bathrooms or powder rooms.
How do I clean the alabaster?
Wipe gently with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid water and household cleaners, which can mark the stone.
